I was originally working with my credit union of 39 years. Every step of the way I explained the critical nature to close or I would loose my $2k in earnest money. Incidentally my credit score at the time was 820 today it’s 840. I had $5k in savings with them. after working with them for several weeks I realized my urgency was not theirs.
