A heart for service and love of numbers inspired Jim to join the mortgage industry in 1989. Over the past 30+ years, he has experienced firsthand the many changes and challenges of the business. Throughout it all, he has focused on what matters most: making a positive difference. Whether it's expertly guiding clients through the mortgage process, supporting team members, or giving back in his community, Jim is simply energized by helping others.

Since launching his career, Jim has served in various management roles for top financial institutions and homebuilding companies. His passion for his profession and the people it serves led him to an unprecedented two-year term as President of the Mortgage Association of Minnesota and a four-year tenure on its Board of Directors. 

Jim embraces opportunities to build lasting friendships with customers, partners, and peers. He strives to be a trusted resource, sharing the insight he's gained throughout the years and always staying up-to-date with the ever-changing mortgage industry.

Born in Nebraska, Jim holds an undergraduate degree from Bemidji State University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He devotes his time outside of work to friends and family.
