Laura Murdock is a branch manager with Union Home Mortgage. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, followed by a bachelor’s in interior design from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii. She brings self-employment experience to the team after having owned a small business for a decade, understanding how it affects qualifying for a mortgage.
Having been licensed as a mortgage loan originator under the Dodd Frank rules, she’s knowledgeable in the current mortgage environment with a fresh perspective toward helping you navigate through today’s mortgage process. As a previous facilitator for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, Laura has a special interest in making sure you not only get the home you want, but you also get the mortgage that best suits your financial priorities.
Laura can be your “Boots on the Ground” when it comes to getting a VA loan. Having grown up in a military family, been a military wife and now with a son in the Army, Laura understands what military families face when relocating. As a Moore County resident for 20 years, she looks forward to helping her neighbors meet their mortgage and homeownership goals while welcoming new friends to the community.
