Geoff Sweeney moved to Prescott in 1992 after a lifetime supply of Vermont winters. His employment background in Vermont was in the construction and cabinetmaking fields; however, after arriving in Prescott he created and eventually sold two small businesses.
Having been involved in the real estate industry in Prescott since 1999 as an appraiser, consultant, and investor, it was a natural progression for him to enter the mortgage industry, which occurred in 2012. The ability to assist borrowers through the loan process proved to be far more rewarding than the small aspect of appraising homes for clients. Geoff takes pride in being constantly available for his clients and in the ability to make what can sometimes be a confusing and stressful process as smooth and simple as possible.
