Rob VanderWaal got his start in the mortgage industry 20 years ago, after transitioning from the realtor side of the business in 2003. Having been in the Battle Creek real estate market as both a realtor and lender for over 26 years helps give him a unique perspective on both sides of the transaction. He also knows having a local lender who knows the local market is a huge advantage in making sure the process goes smoothly and closes on time.
Due to his excellent communication throughout the loan process, he has received the Union Home Mortgage customer service award multiple years in a row and has also been a multiple year Union Home Mortgage Union Club and Presidents Club member. His goal is to use his experience to make sure his clients’ mortgage experiences are stress-free and enjoyable, and that they remain customers for life!
